  • General

    1. With a Non-Refundable Rate, guests are charged the full booking amount if they cancel, make changes, or do not arrive.
      Reducing the number of nights on an existing booking is considered a cancellation of the nights removed. No refund will be given for any nights cancelled or removed from a Non-Refundable booking.
      Guests will also be charged the full amount of the booking if they fail to arrive at the campsite or leave the campsite early, regardless of the reason, including weather conditions, vehicle or equipment failure, or any other circumstances outside the control or responsibility of the campsite.
      Amendments to bookings are possible subject to availability. All amendments will incur a £5 administration fee.
      Any amendment that results in a reduction in the number of nights booked will be treated as a partial cancellation, and no refund will be due for the nights removed.
      Please note that amendments cannot be used to change a Non-Refundable Rate into a Refundable Rate, or vice versa.


      With a Refundable Rate, guests can cancel anytime until 24h before the arrival. Cancellation can be done via phone or email no later than 3.00 pm 24h before the day of arrival. A refund will be issued within 7 working days from cancellation.
      Amendments to bookings are possible (subject to availability).
      Amendments to Refundable Rate bookings are free.
      Please note that amendments cannot be used to change a Non-Refundable Rate into a Refundable Rate, or vice versa.

    2. The caravan/hut/pitch will be available to the named occupants during the period shown on the confirmation email received from Applecross Campsite.

    3. The hirer of the caravan/hut/pitch must be 18 or older, however this remains at the discretion of the Manager and dependant on circumstances, the hirer may be of a younger age.

    4. We reserve the right to move an accommodation booking if necesary, however it will always be to accommodation of an equal or better standard.

    5. All new visitors must report to reception upon arrival.

    6. Strictly NO SMOKING inside the facilities or accommodation. However smoking is permitted outside. Please discard of cigarettes carefully.

    7. The maximum hire period allowed is 28 days.

    8. The area surrounding caravans/huts/pitches must be kept clean and tidy at all times.

    9. Tents can only be erected on designated tenting fields.

    10. Park speed limits must not exceeded (10mph).

    11. In the event of behaviour likely to cause offence or damage to other users of the facilities, the park management reserve the right to remove any offenders from the park without redress or refund.

    12. Please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10pm-7am and show consideration to other holidaymakers and occupants at all times.

    13. Litter and refuse must be disposed of in the designated areas provided by the park.

    14. No ball games, kite flying, campfires, model aircraft, drones, catapults, or guns allowed.

    15. Dogs are welcome on the park, but must be kept on a short lead at all times. They must be emptied of the park and its entrance. Any accidents must be cleaned up immediately. Anyone who disregards this condition will be removed from the site without redress or refund.

    16. The use of barbecues is permitted. However, please keep well away from Caravans and tents and do not place directly onto grass.

    17. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property including motor vehicles whether malicious or accidental during your stay.

    18. Personal travel insurance is not included in the cost of your holiday and, if required, remains the responsibility of the occupants. Cancellation Cover is available at the time of booking.

    19. No arrivals after 9.00pm. Barrier will be closed. No driving is permitted on the campsite after 9.00pm

    20. Anyone who willfully or negligently causes damage to buildings, fences, or equipment will be responsible for the cost of remedial repairs or replacement.

    21. Payment of your fees constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

    22. Applecross Campsite reserve the right to alter or amend these term and conditions without notice.

    23. Bookings made on or after the 3rd of July 2020, were booked by the 'booking party'. With the knowledge and understanding that they are in the midst of a Global Pandemic. Also with full knowledge and understanding that a second wave is possible.
      If Lock down comes into effect for a second time, no booking will be refunded.

      The bookings will be 'banked' and moved to a future date, of the customers choice Dependant on the Campsites availabillity. Any change in the balance of a booking, due to a tariff increase will need to be settled by the customer.

    24. Arrival time to the campsite is between 3.00pm and 9.00pm (gate is closed at 9.00pm). The departure time is 11.00am.
