Welcome to Applecross Campsite

Set in the heart of the spectacular Applecross Peninsula in the Scottish Highlands, Applecross Campsite enjoys an spectacular location on the hill above the famous Applecross Inn. Spread across more than six acres of open grassland, the campsite offers breathtaking views across the Inner Sound towards the islands of Raasay, Rona, and the dramatic Black Cuillin mountains of Skye.

Whether you’re touring the North Coast, exploring the Highlands, or simply looking for a peaceful escape, Applecross Campsite provides the perfect base for your adventure.

Opening Dates

We are open annually from 1 March to 31 October.

Booking Arrangements

Bookings can be made easily online or by calling 01520 744268.

We recommend booking well in advance for bank holidays and school holiday periods, as these are our busiest times. Full contact details and payment are required to confirm your reservation.

Touring and Camping

Our spacious campsite accommodates up to 60 units, including tents, motorhomes, and touring caravans.

Facilities include:

• 10 fully serviced pitches
• 9 electric and water hook-up points
• Spacious grass pitches with outstanding coastal views

Camping Huts

Our camping huts offer a comfortable alternative to traditional camping, combining the outdoor experience with added warmth and convenience.

Each insulated, double-glazed hut sleeps up to four adults and includes:

• Four comfortable mattresses with reversible firm and soft sides
• Electric heating
• Interior lighting
• Power socket for charging devices or using a travel kettle

Please note that there is no campsite kitchen, so you will need to bring your own cooking and camping equipment. The huts provide shelter and comfort, but are designed to retain the spirit of camping.

Rental Caravans

Enjoy the comfort of a fully equipped holiday caravan with a minimum stay of three nights.

Our caravans (excluding the New Hampton) accommodate up to six guests and feature:

• One double bedroom
• One twin bedroom
• Double sofa bed in the lounge
• Central heating and double glazing
• TV
• Microwave
• Shower with hot and cold water
• Gas cooker
• Refrigerator
• Crockery and kitchen essentials

Bed linen is provided; however, guests are asked to bring their own towels.
